Pinball Atelier has all the graphic techniques that were originally used by the pinball manufacturers, such as screen printing and airbrush.

Het Playfield
The images on the playfield are often damaged due to intensive use of the pinball machine combined with a lack of maintenance. The damaged areas are first filled, and then I apply a primer before restoring the original image using airbrush and screen printing techniques. Pinball Atelier has a complete screen printing workshop. Even reprinting backglasses and playfields is possible. For this, I use high-quality industrial inks that are extremely durable and UV-resistant.

The Cabinet
Pinball machines are often painted over or badly damaged. At the start of the restoration, I first stabilize the woodwork, after which the cabinet is sanded down to the wood.
The graphic of the cabinet is then restored by airbrush. I use non-adhesive templates. This creates the soft lines that are characteristic of electromechanical pinball machines.

The electromechanical parts
The vintage pinball machine is packed with electrical, moving parts such as electric motors and coils. No microchip or transistor is involved. During restorations, these parts are thoroughly overhauled. If necessary, I make missing parts myself. Pinball Atelier has various metalworking machines with which many parts can be made. Winding coils is also possible.
